"Hoofin' it for HART"

Maddy and Chessie did a 5-mile charity walk last Saturday and raised over $50 for the Heartland Animal Rescue Team. There were at least 100 dogs on the Paul Bunyan Trail... and an alpaca. Someday I'll have an alpaca, wish I would have thought to take a picture of it.

Ice Off

The official ice off date for a lake is when you can travel from one shore to the other without breaking ice. Mayo Lake's ice off date this year was April 19th, with ice only remaining in the middle.

Late Snow

After a long winter of very little snow, we got loads of snow in March.
